Key Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of Class 12 commerce background with a Diploma in Financial Management;
At least 2 years of experience in financial accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting software and financial systems, including strongly proficient in TallyPrime software;
Adaptability to financial and regulatory standards, with a commitment to maintaining high levels of integrity and professionalism;
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure;
Fluent in Rules on the Income Tax Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan, with prior knowledge of income tax filing procedures;
Prior experience in Corporate or Private Limited companies in Bhutan is preferred;
Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards;
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications;
Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance standards;
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills;
Experience in the banking sector will be considered an advantage; and
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Overall, Job Description
The accountant, under the supervision of the Finance Officer, is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records with integrity, supporting budget preparation, managing bank accounts and its transactions, ensuring proper documentation, and overseeing daily accounting functions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of all daily transactions with integrity and update internal systems;
Prepare cheque and ensure proper receipt by the appropriate payee and on time;
Track and process all bank deposits and withdrawals of the organization;
Ensure accurate Reconciliation of Banks Account and balances regularly to ensure the accuracy of financial records, with proper details and breakdown of transactions;
Ensure the timely deposit of TDS to RRCO via RAMIS and other statutory deductions to respective entities;
Ensure all transactions are appropriately authorized and documented properly;
Track expenses to ensure they remain within the approved budget of the organization and correctly posted to the appropriate accounts, budget lines, and funds, in accordance with the internal policies and accounting standards;
Assist Finance Officer with budget preparation and ensure financial transactions align with approved budget lines;
Assist Finance Officer during financial audits, ensuring accounting records are verified and all financial documentation is readily filed and available;
Maintain proper accountability for all expenditures and ensure supporting documents are obtained for all expenses;
Manage and settle all banking matters on behalf of the organization, ensuring smooth operations;
Perform the Finance Officer’s duties in his/her absence, with proper guidance from the heads of other divisions or management; and
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the management.
